
Dr. Muhammed Farooq Naeemi Al’Bukhari
Dr. Muhammad Farooq Naeemi Al-Bukhari is a widely respected Islamic scholar, orator, and community leader from Kollam, Kerala, whose work spans religious education, youth leadership, and humanitarian service across India and abroad.
He currently serves as the National President of the Sunni Students’ Federation (SSF), one of India’s largest Islamic student organisations, where he has led major national initiatives — including a nationwide outreach tour covering more than twenty states, engaging with students, scholars, and communities on issues of education, harmony, and civic life. His leadership within SSF reflects decades of grassroots organising and mentorship of young scholars and students.
Beyond his role in SSF, Dr. Naeemi is the founder and chairman of several educational and charitable institutions, including ventures under the Bukhari Group of Institutions, where he also serves as General Secretary of the Indian Welfare Association and holds leadership positions across affiliated academic and alumni bodies. His institutions have trained generations of students in religious scholarship as well as modern education.
